Taiwan Engagements : Keelung (vol. 1)

It’s the last trip we ever had with our dear friend Norman. He’ll be leaving Taiwan soon for a job in Toronto and he was kind enough to bring us along to this adventure

The long ride from highways – to cliffs – to sea side – to countless turns and traffics - we made it to Keelung port. We've been tailing Johns' BMW for hours and personally were all getting anxious - Are we there yet?

Normans Colleagues along with their spouse/significant others are so accomodating. We talked, laughed and practically enjoyed each others company like old friends keeping ourselves updated.

We had our lunch at Keelung port and shop for live seafoods for lunch at the dockside. Uh-hmmm... it couldnt be fresher than this... Dampa style only better. We really pig it out.

Then we went to this mountain where people used to mine the finest jade in Taiwan. They finally converted it to a shop. Grabe kakapakod... with Taiwans money - why cant they build cable car for sloth tourist like me...
